Astrology and the Angels

People have studied that stars for thousands of years and are known as Astrologers. I believe that when we are in spirit we choose our Mammy and Daddy, our brothers and sisters and what country we will live in! I believe we also choose the date and time of birth which then determines what our star sign will be. Each sign of the zodiac, which means all the star signs are ruled by one of the four elements. The four elements are EARTH, FIRE, WATER, AIR. These elements influence both the angels who rule each sign and the children in their care.

 

How the elements work together

Fire is fed by Air. Earth is fed by Water. Fire scorches Earth. Air travels around the Earth. Air does not mix with Water. Water puts out Fire. Earth puts out Fire. Water cannot dominate air. Earth can smother Air. So if we are to help our children work together, we need to know the predominant elements in their charts. Asking a Fire child to work with a Water child, or worse yet, a Water Teacher, could have some disastrous outcomes! When we understand the nature of our children and ourselves, we are better equipped to honour and fulfil the needs of both.

 

Fire Signs are under the care of Archangel Michael. These signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

Children who are born under the fire signs can be very active, busy and don't like to sit still. Does this sound like you? Fire is very active. It is always flickering and moving and given the chance to run wild, it would burn through thousands of acres of land. These children will need to be doing things to keep them active, inspired and creative.

ARIES - March 21st to April 20th
Aries is a passionate sign. Aries children like to have adventures and are full of ideas and creativity. They need to be seen and acknowledged for their accomplishments.

LEO - July 21st to August 20th
Leo's are leaders and need more attention than other signs. Leo's are big hearted, enthuastic and loving children. They want to be acknowledged for everything they do! Try activities like acting, dancing, singing classes and social clubs that include any of the arts.

SAGITTARIUS - November 21st to December 20th
Sagittarius children are also very creative and want to explore everything! They enjoy challenges and they cannot bear to be bored. They need to try and focus on something long enough to master it before beginning another project. Encourage them to keep a journal either written or recorded. A journal enhances their ability to focus. They are very positive and cheerful children.

 

Earth Signs are under the care of Archangel Raphael. These signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

Children who are born under the element of Earth don't like change! They think deeply and need to feel safe and secure. They like to own things because there is security in ownership. They are very loyal and hate to be uprooted, just like the earth itself! These kids can be 'seeded' with ideas on direction and then nurtured with love and encouragement. Earth kids should be given boundaries to feel loved and safe. They should not be pushed but rather led and should not be uprooted with time to accept the situation!

TAURUS - 21st April to 20th May
Taurus kids can be the most stubborn star sign of all! They love security and need to know that change is good. Help them celebrate the change of season and focus on what is coming instead of what has been! They have big hearts and can be very charming. Encourage them to give away some of their things instead of hoarding. Encourage the Tauruen child to walk in their bare feet in the grass to that they can connect with Mother Earth.

VIRGO - August 21st to September 20th
Virgo kids are generally practical, tidy and reliable and love to pay close attention to detail! Virgo kids feel best needed serving others, but they should be thought early that a balanced life includes rest and lots of fun!

CAPRICORN - December 21st to January 20th
Capricorn children are very ambitious - meaning they have big ideas and the ability to persist and get what they want! They are very loyal and have a strong sense of humour. They can get stressed early but not show it. They need to remember to take deep breaths and then think of something really fund and then laugh out loud! Let Go Capricorn!!

 

Air Signs are under the Archangel Uriel. These signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius

Children born under the Air Signs are very creative. Air changes a lot and it can go from hot to cold. It can move and it can even change form! It is seldom still… but sometimes silent. At other times it can crackle with electricity or snap with terrifying thunder! Air sing are talkative, filled with ideas and creative thought. Unlike Earth kids, Air kids don't like rules, unless they understand them. They love questions, so expect it and give them the opportunity to explore the answers.

GEMINI - May 21st to June 20th
Gemini means ideas, ideas and more ideas! Their minds are ever changing. They talk, talk, talk and it can be hard for them to focus as they never stop thinking. They are witty, and active kids who love music and this can be their greatest gift. It can help them to relax so introduce them to all concepts of music. They love parties and what a a great reward for them to help them focus and complete a project!

LIBRA - September 21st to October 20th
Libra kids are very socialable, love people and dressing up! Sometimes they may find it hard to make decisions as they tend to see both sides of everything! They like peace and harmony and hate rows. They too love to talk and think big!

AQUARIUS - January 21st to February 20th Aquarius children love helping others. They love to think and talk and ask lots of questions. They need room to test their logic and ideas on the world. They can be independent and are fond of drama which they play out in their everyday lives.

 

Water Signs are under Archangel Gabriel. They are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

This is the element of emotions. The moon moves the tides and since humans are mostly made of water, the moon moves us too. Full moons brings out romantic, psychic, sensitive, passionate and angry characteristics. Water when given boundaries can be focused like a brook running into the sea is joyful and bubbly. Water put into a container, it is silent and placid. Forced from the earth it is dramatic and beautiful (like a geiser). Pushed to its limits, over a cliff like a waterfall - it is thunderous, loud and dramatic. Finally in the cold it becomes silent, frozen and solid. Children who are mainly water have all these characteristics. Therefore they are very sensitive, and should be loved and nurtured. They need more hugs than Fire or Air and even a little more than Earth children.

CANCER - June 21st to July 20th
Cancerian children can be sensitive, moody and family is very important to them. They want to be loved and love food, homelife and the history of their family. They may tend to worry alot and may tend to clam up yet they have a hard time letting go. Teach them flexibility in all things. Water is very important to Cancerians eg. Swimming and being by the ocean, Get them some CDs of music with sounds of the sea and perhaps even think of putting a water fountain in their rooms.

PISCES - February 21st to March 20th
Pisceans are incredibly sensitive, kind, caring and psychic children. They can cry very easily as they feel other people emotions as well as their own! They can latch onto your energy, emotions and thought patterns before you speak! They need to be loved and thought to listen to their feelings. They should write a dream journal. They love to sleep, eat and dream! They love fantasy stories and happy endings! They can be so busy looking after those around them that they neglect to explore their full potential… so encourage!

SCORPIO - October 21st to November 20th
Scorpions are deeply emotional and their waters run deep. Here you have a child who desires to know the secrets of the Universe and all that goes on behind closed doors. Scorpio children are intensely passionate, silently probing and secretly desire to know so that they can gain control in every area of their lives. They are very psychic and read the emotions of others like a book! Scorpion children need to be taught to express their depth of their feelings without blaming others for their woes. Teach these children to choose to keep their own power and not give it away. Whenever we say, "He made me do this, or I had to do that", we have given our power away. Scorpions much learn early in life how to choose in all things, thus keeping their power. Be ready for questions!
